Bob Nula – 2025 Edward King House Senior Center Volunteer of the Year
It is my absolute honor to present the 2025 Edward King House Senior Center Volunteer of the Year Award to someone whose commitment and compassion have become part of the very foundation of our work—Mr. Bob Nula.
Bob has been a dedicated part of our EKHSC family for over a decade, bringing his time, talent, and unwavering heart to our Medicare Support Program and our Tax Assistance Program. But to say that Bob just “volunteers” doesn’t begin to cover it. Bob shows up—early, often, and always with purpose.
He’s the one who works the extra hour when the line is still long. He’s the one who travels to the next town when someone else can’t make it. And he does it all with a warm smile, a generous spirit, and a quiet confidence that puts everyone instantly at ease.
Bob represents the very best of what it means to serve—without fanfare, without hesitation, and always with the needs of others front and center. His welcoming presence has helped hundreds of older adults navigate complex systems with dignity, understanding, and peace of mind.
Bob, thank you for being the kind of person who always goes the extra mile—and then some. We are beyond grateful, and we are proud to honor you as this year’s Volunteer of the Year.
