Ways to give to the Edward King House Senior Center
The Edward King House is an independent, 501C3 non-profit corporation and relies heavily on the generosity of donations, foundations, fundraising and grants to support the daily operation and programs of the center. Your gift to the Edward King House Senior Center funds the day-to-day operation which in turn delivers vital services to seniors within our community. Your gift, of any amount, is important to our mission and is greatly appreciated.
There are many ways to make your tax deductible contribution to the Edward King House.
Memorial Gifts and Tributes
Respect a loved one with a memorial contribution, or honor a friend or King House member with a tribute donation.
Remember an anniversary, birthday, or other special occasion by making a contribution to the King House ~ it’s a meaningful gesture and a gift that will give lasting satisfaction.
Give a parent, spouse, friend, or relative the gift of ‘membership’ to the Edward King House.
The Center hosts many special events each year that are open to the public including a fall cocktail party and a holiday silver tea. You or your company can sponsor either of these special events.
Whether you are retired or currently working, you may be eligible to have your contribution to the King House matched dollar for dollar if your employer operates a ‘matching gift’ program. Please check with your human resources representative to see if this is an option.
Planned Giving or a Bequest
If you are preparing your estate plan or already have done so, you can create a ‘legacy’ gift to the Edward King House Senior Center. A bequest of a specific amount or percent of your estate will ensure the work of the King House continues and it’s future secure to benefit tomorrow’s seniors.
